Good morning. I give thanks to God today for my life. Through its ups and downs, ins and outs, over the hill and under it, I wouldn’t trade it for the world. No silver nor gold can make me change the way my life has panned out. Why you may ask?
It’s simple. Because had it not been for those horrible scars and ugly lessons, I would’ve never learned anything. With much growth comes even greater challenges. Lessons have to be learned in order to move to the next level in life. We may not like going through the tests and trials, but we have to encounter them and conquer them in order to grow into the person we’re always meant to become.
With my 30th birthday around the corner (October 10th), I’m ever grateful for what God has done for me. I want to tell the world of His great miracles and how He single-handedly changed my life. But all things come in due time. Right now, He has me in constant daily prayer and meditation writing this story. Even though it’s my life, I can’t simply call it my story because it’s God who worked on and through me. Had it not been for His forgiveness, grace and loving mercy, I’d be still lost or worse, dead. Thanks be unto God who saw something in this great sinner. He deserves all of my loving praise!
“I will bless the Lord who guides me; even at night my heart instructs me.” (Psalms 16:7 NLT)
Won’t you take some time today and give God praise for what He’s already done in your life. I’m sure you have a story to tell just like mines, so shout AMEN for life. No matter how good or bad things may get or feel, just know that it’s all used for the greater good for your life. It may not be good to you, but it will be good for you.
Sincerely with love,
