“So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever.” (2 Corinthians 4:17-18 NLT)
Whatever you’re going through, just know that trouble won’t last always. Just like a ferris wheel, you may go around and around trying to get to that perfect place / position in your life, but eventually you’ll have to settle for the views that you see. Whether good or bad, learn how to make the best of every situation. In life, you may cry, you may worry, and you may hurt, but there will come a time when you will smile, laugh and be carefree once again. So hold your head up high, put your seatbelt on and enjoy this ride. You only get one life. Trust and believe that God is in control. You may be seated in that swinging car by yourself but you are not alone. There’s someone special seated right by your side holding on to embrace the ride of life with you.
We all have a story to tell, our own roads to walk and crosses to bare. Take into consideration your own life and be kind to those who you may come into contact with on your daily travels. You never know what they may be going through. Try adding a smile by giving a compliment or be a blessing to someone by giving of your time, money or kindness. You just may make their day! Watch how God blesses you for choosing to do something nice for someone else. Give it a try — what do you have to lose!?!
Sincerely with love,
